How it works
- 01
Tell us roughly where you sit
Beginner, social, or competitive. If you get it wrong we move you — grading settles itself within a couple of weeks.

Come as a pair, or on your own
No partner is not a problem. Rotating draws pair you with someone different each round, which is how most people end up with a regular partner anyway.
- 03
Play, then have a drink about it
Short matches, quick turnaround, everyone gets a decent number of games. Results tracked across the season without anyone chasing you for a form.
The formats
Graded doubles
Fixed pairs in a grade that suits you, playing a round each week. The closest thing to pennant without the commitment.
Mixed
Mixed doubles draws, graded the same way. Popular with couples, housemates and anyone who has been dragged along and then got hooked.
Rotating social
Turn up alone, get drawn with a different partner each round. The easiest way into the centre if you do not know anyone yet.
League nights
For players who want more structure, weeknight ladders run across multiple grades with results tracked through the season and promotion between divisions. Same courts, same lighting, a bit more on the line.
