Junior
programs
Age-grouped squads after school and through the holidays, built around movement and game sense before technique drilling.
How the squads are grouped
Juniors are grouped by age and stage rather than thrown together. That means a seven-year-old picking up a racquet for the first time is not sharing a court with a thirteen-year-old who plays pennant.
Ages 6 to 9
Games-based. Balance, hand-eye, and getting comfortable moving on a full-size court. Shorter sessions, modified scoring, lots of shuttles in the air.
Ages 10 to 13
Technique starts to matter. Proper grip, overhead action, and the footwork patterns that make the rest of the game possible.
Ages 14 to 17
For juniors who want to compete. Match play, tactics, and a pathway into our social competitions and league nights alongside adults.
After school and school holidays
Term-time squads run on weekday afternoons and early evenings. Through the holidays we run longer clinics for parents who need somewhere their kids actually want to be for a few hours.
What they'll pick up
- Movement and balance that carries into any sport
- Real technique, taught in an order that makes sense
- How to lose a point and start the next one properly
- A group of kids their own age who play every week
For parents
There is proper spectator seating with a clear view of every court, so you can watch the session rather than wait in a corridor. The centre is open until 11pm, there is ample parking at the door, and the pro shop can sort a junior racquet without a trip to a sports store. It is an easy run from Craigieburn, Greenvale and Roxburgh Park.

Junior squads run from opening week and places in each age group are limited. Register your interest and we'll be in touch with the timetable first.
