About the centre
Everest Badminton Centre started with the vision to provide the northern suburbs, which has plenty of people who love badminton, with a premium place to play and spend quality time together. Not multi-sport facilities, not school halls, not venues where the lights are in your eyes on every clear.
From the playing surface to the ceiling height, the background colour, the seating areas and the lighting, everything has been designed by people who play the game several nights a week and who know exactly what makes for a great session. Twelve courts, no compromises, and a pro shop where you can buy or rent equipment and shuttles.
Bring your kids, bring your parents, bring the mate who hasn't picked up a racquet since school. First-timers and pennant players share the same floor here.
Facilities
Twelve BWF-standard courts, purpose-built with exacting attention to the things that matter. Here's what that actually means when you're on court.
BWF standard, full-size.
A sprung, shock-absorbing court system that takes the load off knees, ankles and hips. Less soreness the next morning, more seasons in your legs.
Premium, honeycomb LED lighting precisely angled so the shuttle stays visible at the top of its arc and never disappears into a hotspot.
Ample on-site parking and a location built for industry traffic, sitting right next to the arterial roads. Turn up ten minutes before your booking, not forty.
Clean showers and storage, plus a pro shop with racquets and equipment to buy or rent, and shuttles at the desk when yours have had enough.
Seating areas for parents, partners and teammates, comfortable enough that they'll actually stay for the third game.
Everyone has an Everest to conquer.
Programs
Casual hitters, competitive squads, school-holiday juniors and Friday-night work teams. Six routes up, one mountain. Bookings open ahead of launch, register your interest and we'll get in touch.
Book by the half-hour, on the day or a fortnight out. Off-peak rates through the weekday, extended evenings until 11pm for anyone who finishes work late.
Small-group sessions that start at grip and footwork rather than assuming you already own a racquet. Rental gear available while you work out whether it sticks.
Age-grouped squads after school and through the holidays, built around movement and game sense before technique drilling. Parents can watch from the seating, not the doorway.
Graded, mixed and rotating draws for players who want a scoreboard without the pennant paperwork. Turn up as a pair or let us find you a partner.
Structured weeknight ladders across multiple grades, with results tracked across the season and promotion between divisions.
Take a block of courts for a club training night, a birthday, a school group or a work team. We'll sort equipment, grading and the run sheet.
